Pilates Haus is a local Pilates reformer sanctuary where you can tone, strengthen and move your body safely, whilst under the guidance of our expert instructors. Our Pilates reformer equipment is a combination of traditional mat work with added spring loaded resistance on the tower. This enables you to tailor your workout and challenge all levels.
It is essential that all Pilates exercises are performed with a “Neutral Spine” (optimal posture). Achieving this requires a flat back and the activation of your deep stabilising muscles – your transversus abdominis and pelvic floor. These muscles function like a corset supporting your spine and pelvis. To activate these muscles, lie on your back with your chin tucked in slightly and your eyes and nose facing forwards.
Pause is designed specifically for women experiencing the unique hormonal changes that occur during peri-menopause, menopause and beyond. These classes are designed to assist with core/body strength, movement, posture and balance during this transitional period of life.
